Donations & Refunds
Stash is free for everyone. Donations are entirely optional — they're what pay for hosting and the shared AI that everyone uses, so a donation helps keep Stash running and free for the whole community.
What a donation is
- A donation is a voluntary gift to Jayden Winterbach, who runs Stash as an individual.
- You don't get anything in return: no extra features, priority support, or guarantee that Stash will keep running. Everyone gets the same service whether or not they donate.
- If you like, you can add your name to the supporters wall above — that's an optional public thank-you, not a feature or benefit, and you can change or remove it anytime in Settings.
- Stash is not a registered charity or public benefit organisation, so donations are not tax-deductible and no Section 18A tax certificate can be issued.
- You pay from your own bank or crypto wallet, under its terms. Stash never sees your card details, banking login, or wallet keys. See the Privacy Policy for what the operator sees when you donate.
Refunds
Because a donation is a gift, it is normally not refundable. But if you donated by mistake, sent the wrong amount, or paid twice, email stashlinked@gmail.com within 30 days of the payment with the date, the amount, and proof of payment, and it will be refunded in full to the account it came from. Refunds are usually made within 10 business days, though your bank may take longer to show it. If you set up a recurring transfer, you can stop it in your own banking app at any time.
Crypto payments can't be reversed. A mistaken crypto donation reported within 30 days (with the transaction ID) is sent back to the address it came from, less the network fee. Crypto sent on the wrong network or to the wrong address can't be recovered.
This doesn't affect any right you have under the law, for example if a payment was made fraudulently. See also the Terms.
