The free Pocket alternative, with AI summaries

Save links from anywhere, get a short summary with the key points, and read later on the web, Android or desktop. Free, no ads, no tracking.

The Stash library: saved articles, each with a short summary, key points and tags.

Everything you saved, finally useful

Summaries with key points

Every link you save gets a short summary and the main points, so you know what's worth your time.

Import from Pocket

Bring your Pocket, Instapaper or Omnivore export. Titles, tags and dates come across; archived items stay read.

A calm reader

Read articles without the clutter, highlight passages, and send them to a note.

Notes and tasks

Markdown notes next to your links, with to-dos and due dates, and a daily reminder if you want one.

Works offline

The Android and desktop apps keep a copy of your library, notes and tasks, and sync when you're back.

Ask your library

Ask a question and get an answer drawn from what you've saved, with links to the sources.

Moving from Pocket?

Pocket closed in July 2025. If you downloaded your export, you can bring it all into Stash in a minute.

  1. Create a free Stash account.
  2. Open Settings → Import links and upload your Pocket export (the .zip, or its CSV files).
  3. Your links arrive with their titles, tags and dates. Press Summarize on any you want a summary for, or just read them.
